Happy Valentine’s Day! This year we are celebrating all day long with valentine’s themed meals and treats. Join us for a meal or three and spread the love.

Breakfast
For breakfast I found some pink waffle mix from JoAnn. This could be perfect to pre-make and freeze for a busy morning. I also baked bacon in the shape of a heart. To make, use two strips to form the shape of a heart and bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes. The meal was finished with a side of berries and vanilla yogurt (and a few sprinkles just for fun).
Lunch
This lunch works great packed to go or eaten at home. Heart-shaped PB&J sandwiches were served with a side of XO meat and cheese, heart veggies, and a chocolate treat. I used these mini alphabet cutters to make the letter shapes and this cutter set which includes the mini heart shape.
Snack
This quick and easy valentines trail mix was a hit at snack time. To make I mixed popcorn, valentines M&M cupid mix, s’mores Goldfish, and strawberry marshmallows.
Dinner
I have some picky eaters so I can’t get too adventurous with the dinner menu. To ensure everyone eats while still making it fun I topped spaghetti with cheese-y love messages using the mini alphabet cutters linked above. The spaghetti was served with heart-shaped garlic knots (find the recipe I used HERE) and salad with pink dressing. I’m not sure if The Pink Stuff dressing is a local thing to Kansas City, but if you can’t find it you can make your own pink salad dressing like this raspberry vinaigrette.
Dessert
To end the day on a sweet note, I made these adorable Strawberry Love Notes and chocolate dipped strawberries.
Want to throw in a valentine’s family friendly movie? Try Gnomeo and Juliet, Lady and the Tramp, Beauty and the Beast, Shrek, The Princess Bride, Enchanted, High School Musical, or The Little Rascals. Or for a heart-themed dinner & movie, check out this Alice in Wonderland meal I put together for the family.
Hope you enjoyed these valentine’s themed meals. For your pinning pleasure:
