If there’s one thing I hate, it’s cauliflower (clutter is a very close second). So a rolling cart stocked with kids craft supplies is one of my favorite mom weapons. It rolls right to your crafting spot of choice and then rolls right back where it belongs when done. For this kids art cart I only assembled the first two tiers – it goes up to three – so it can tuck away beneath a desk when not in use.
Now that school’s out we need to be prepped for inevitable boredom. To give the kids art cart a little refresh and restock for summer I made a run to Michael’s for some new supplies and used the following to organize it:

- 3-Tiered Rolling Cart – there are several cute colors to choose from so have fun!
- Multi-Purpose Bins – one small & one medium bin hold paper, coloring pages, and activity books for easy access.
- SmartStore Inserts – are perfect for storing colored pencils, markers, paint brushes, stickers, and small craft kits.
- 5×7 Photo Case – hold markers, crayons, and other small craft supplies. They are also great for grab and go to keep little ones entertained when you are out and about.
These carts can be used in any room of the the house but I especially love them for kids. Wishing you a happy summer with lots of crafting!
