My babies are growing up and it’s time for their rooms to grow with them in today’s Monday Mood Board: Tween Girl Bedroom edition. We’ve been through all kinds of room setups in the the last 10 years (think musical chairs but with rooms) and this time I want they style to transition as they get older and last for their time left at home. To do that we talked about their interests, likes, and incorporated some neutral staples that work with any style. If the get tired of the bold patterned wallpaper? No problem, it just peels right off!

Mod Tween
First up is H’s room. She wanted a lounge-y space to hangout, read, and write stories. We started by selecting the wallpaper for a bold accent wall and the rest of the design went from there. The lighted curtains are our FAVORITE!

- Peel & Stick Tulip Wallpaper
- Danbury Full Daybed
- Diamond Tufted Quilt
- Double Dresser
- Boho Night Light
- Blush Rug
- Faux Fur Bean Bag Chair (similar)
- Custom Zodiac Print
- Moon Phases Wall Hooks
- Lighted Drapes (or make your own like we did for less with these Lights & Drapes)
- Light Filtering Roller Shade in Senora Snow White
Birder’s Dream
Next is Z’s room. She has gotten into birdwatching so I rounded up several bird wallpaper options and had her choose her favorite. We ended up with a muted color scheme that is more suited to her quiet personality.

- Peel & Stick Flying Birds Wallpaper
- Rounded Detail Bed Frame
- Velvet Quilt
- Chambray Comforter
- Desk
- Distressed Area Rug
- Lounge Chair (similar)
- Drapes
- Dilly Dally Art
