I wasn’t sure we really needed Disney+ in our lives, but then we did a free trial for a week and now I can’t live without it. It’s my go to whenever we fire up the TV for the kids because I (not so) secretly want to watch all the movies too. The nostalgia is real! So for this month’s themed movie night we had an Alice in Wonderland picnic all while eating our way through it with some Asian inspired Alice-themed goodies. I know Alice and Asian sounds like an odd combo, but trust me. Here’s what was on the menu.
Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum’plings’
Dumplings are great finger food and perfect for Alice in Wonderland picnic dining. To be fair though, I did not make these. We picked them up at our favorite Chinese restaurant to save on time.

Caterpillar Skewers
I had to throw in some sort of fruit and these were just too easy. Simply slide some grapes on a skewer and you have a caterpillar.

“Drink Me” Tea Cups
The Mad Hatter never had a matching tea set so neither do we. I snatched up these super inexpensive tea cups at Goodwill and added a “Drink Me” tag to make it more fun.

“Eat Me” Fortune Cookies
Late January is coincidentally the PERFECT time to find some Alice in Wonderland goodies (hello, Queen of Hearts anyone?). World Market had these red fortune cookies and I added an “Eat Me” tag. To create the tag type it up in a Word document using font size 18 printed 3 per line, cut them into strips approximately 2″ x 1/2″ and slip the ends into the cookies. So easy & cute!
